Ronaldinho's Childhood

Ronaldo de Assis Moreira was born March 21, 1980 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Is a footballer more commonly known as Ronaldinho (Ronaldinio) Gaucho due to his citizenship in the Rio Grande do Sul region of Brazil. His name Ronaldinho , portugese for "little ronaldo", was originally devised as a means of distinguishing between himself, and fellow Brazilian footballer Ronaldo. In his childhood, Ronaldinho (ronaldinio)'s skill in football began to blossom due to his particular interest in futsal and beach football, which later developed into a fondness for more standardised football. His first brush with the media came after a 23 goal flurry from Ronaldinho at just 13 years of age. His reputation as a footballer was upheld during most of his childhood, particularly due to the fact he was the top scorer in the Egypt under-17 world championship, and to his stylish play.

Middlesbrough shocked Premier League leaders Arsenal 2-1 at the Riverside Stadium

eft winger Stewart Downing stroked home an early penalty and Tuncay added a second after half time to stun Arsene Wenger's side, who were torn apart at times by former player Jeremie Aliadiere. Tomas Rosicky's consolation deep into injury time was far too little, too late from a poor Arsenal performance. Arsenal were shocked by a determined Boro side that won the penalty kick inside four minutes when Kolo Toure was adjudged to have brought down Aliadiere. It was a 50-50 call that went Boro's way. Downing stepped up and stroked the spot-kick home for the lead, one which the home fans seemed almost surprised to celebrate.
